9 pounds of poi?

Anna in the muumuu that was mine when I was 10.

Last night was Anna's school program.  Her class did a song called,"The 12 Days of Christmas Hawaiian Style"  Here are the words:
"Numba one day of Christmas my Tutu gave to me:

One Myna bird in one papaya tree

Two coconuts

Three dried squid

Four flower leis

Five big fat pigs

Six hula lessons

Seven shrimps a swimmin'

Eight ukuleles 

Nine pounds of poi

Ten cans of root beer

Eleven missionaries

Twelve televisions

The kids all looked so cute decked out in their Hawaiian finery.  Grandma and Grandpa R got to come too.

The dress she wore was the one I got when we went to visit my grandparents when they were on their mission to Hawaii 26 years ago!
