4 boxes, some hammering, and 2 strong guys

The result: a loft bed! with a desk! Connor was so happy when he got home from school to find 4 flat boxes in the hall. My bed! my bed! We've talked about getting him a new bed for quite some time now. We finally got it for him yesterday and he is so happy. He had a good time figuring it out and putting it together with his dad. Sweet dreams!

tips

1. If you make your silly putty into a ball and throw it up to catch it, be sure to catch it with your hands.

2. If you are unable to catch it with your hands, your head is not a suitable substitute.

3. If you decide to use your head as a substitute, do not, I repeat, DO NOT smash it onto your head with your hand to secure its location.

4. Hand sanitizer removes silly putty from hair.

EASTER 2010
If you think that posing your kids and getting a good picture of all of them at once would get easier as they get older, you are wrong.

Peek a Boo

The Big Ultrasound!

Yesterday we got to go and have our 20 week ultrasound. Since the kids were off school for spring break, they got to come too. Anna was so excited! When people asked her what she was doing for spring break she would tell them she was going to see her baby on an ultrasound! We were lucky, our ultrasound tech was so good. She patiently explained everything we were looking at and made sure the kids understood. The baby measured exactly right with the due date. I loved watching that sweet little baby moving around and I had tears rolling down my face. So awesome! When the doctor came in, she told us that everything looked good. What a relief! We got a bunch of pictures and even a dvd of the ultrasound. We also found out that we are having........

A BOY! There are no potty shots shown to respect his privacy, but believe me, he really wanted to make sure we knew he was a boy. We are super excited to welcome him to our family!

20 weeks!

Half way there! It's crazy to me to realize that I'm already half way done with this pregnancy. I am feeling so good these days. I'm sleeping better, I'm not nauseous anymore, and I have way more energy. The baby is moving quite regularly now and love it!

Happy Easter

We spent our Easter weekend with my side of the family in Richfield. We headed down early Saturday morning, listening to conference on the way there. I love it when Easter falls on conference weekend. When we got to Grandma's, she already had the eggs ready to color. So we colored the eggs and then got ready to go to the park for our picnic. The weather has been very unpredictable lately, lots of cold and snow and yuck so we knew we wouldn't be able to go in the hills this year.

Grandpa cooked his yummy dutch oven chicken and we ate and ate and ate. So good! Then we had the Easter egg hunt and that sure was fun! Grandma even remembered the baby! The kids always have so much fun with their cousins and it's fun for me to see my brothers and my sister and their families. Michael even brought a new girlfriend, so I got to meet her.

We stayed in a hotel room with 3 queen beds. It was nice to have the extra rooms. We took the kids swimming and then Chris and Tristan went to the priesthood session of conference while I took Connor and Anna back to Grandma and Grandpa's.

On Sunday, after we woke up and had breakfast, we went back to Grandma's. The Easter bunny found us there. Good thing he hid the eggs up high or else Grandma's little doggy, Zoe would have eaten them! We watched morning conference and found a hill to roll the eggs down. While we were rolling eggs, the kids got to ride 4 wheelers and the boys even drove! They had a lot of fun!

After we got home and had a quick potty break, we went up to our other Grandparent's house for dinner. Connor and Anna played and played with their cousins and got rid of all the energy that was stored up from the car ride. They didn't seem to mind the cold, but they sure had some pink faces! Thank goodness for cousins!

It was a great holiday for us! Happy Easter!
